Silver SpotBoxes contain fine .999+ silver bullion in various forms. Generally we place the biggest coins, rounds or bars by weight for the price tier selected, then fill the remaining dollar value with smaller sizes.
In all cases, small fractional silver pieces — under one troy ounce — are used to bring each box to the exact dollar amount you selected. These may be fractional coins, bars or rounds.

Generic silver
Rounds and bars from private mints
A Silver SpotBox may contain low-premium ‘generic’ fine silver as rounds or bars. Generic simply denotes a non-government manufacturer. These items almost always carry a much lower premium than government-minted coins, getting you as close as possible to market spot price per troy ounce. They still meet or exceed .999+ investment-grade purity, and are generally minted by the same companies that produce product for the various world governments.
